John Paul Jones was born on July 6,1747.Born on the estate of Arbigland near kikcudbright on the Stewartry of kircudbright on the southwest coast of Scotland.His Father name was John Paul (Sr.),and was a gordyan at Arbigland,and his Mother Jean Duff.They were(his parents) married November 29, 1733 in the New Ammey ,kircudbright.
John started a career at the age of 13 being a maritime
